Teddy joined Scottish Agronomy in February from Suffolk, where he studied Agriculture at university, working on veg farms before moving to Scotland. His perfect weekend would involve hiking, a movie and planning his veg patch.
What’s your role at Scottish Agronomy
As a Field Trials Officer, our tasks vary a lot throughout the year. Some months there’ll be lots of field work such as spraying and assessing plots, whilst other months we’ll be preparing seed and equipment for the season ahead.
What do you love about working at Scottish Agronomy?
The team is fantastic. Having a big group of like-minded people, really helps in getting tasks done.
What can you be found doing when not at work?
My favourite things to do are growing veg, hiking, and cooking! I’m still waiting on an allotment, so it’s mostly hiking keeping me busy for now.
Ideal Weekend / Happy Place?
Going hiking with my partner, finishing at a cafe for some lunch and a coffee, then heading to the cinema in the evening to watch a movie.
Best or worst job you’ve ever had and why?
Worst job has to be when I worked on a pig farm and the best is definitely working for Scottish Agronomy.
