Adam began his career with Scottish Agronomy in 1989 after studying Agriculture in Aberdeen. Since then the trials have grown considerably and is now the largest trials programme in Scotland, covering all the combinable crops as well as potatoes and cover crops. He has been a Director of the company since 2004 and is responsible for the 12 full-time trials staff and up to eight part-time staff. BASIS & FACTS qualified, he manages the trials workload and fights a daily battle with the Scottish weather to make the best of any suitable windows of opportunity. Adam is the first point of contact regarding all trials queries.
His favourite place in Scotland is The Hermitage in Dunkeld and he loves spring days, walking his dog and Tunnocks Caramel Wafers.
