Originally from Aberdour and now based in Cardenden, Fife. Laura studied at Aberdeen University. She received an honours degree in Animal Science before starting full time at Scottish Agronomy in 2006, after being a summer student in 2005. Main responsibilities are day-to-day management of the potato trials including trial set up, field and tuber assessments, harvesting plus reporting. Laura also organises cereal harvest samples from contacting trial sponsors, sample logistics, grain drying to dispatch after harvest. Laura’s role also includes data entry and junior staff mentoring in a variety of different aspects of the trials officers’ job.
She is a keen baker, loves Jaffa Cakes and Pilates and is the proud owner of Skye, the ‘favourite’ office dog!
