Susan Lawrie

Susan Lawrie

Financial Administrator

Born and brought up in South Wales, Susan studied Agriculture and Farm Secretarial Studies at Usk College in Monmouthshire, starting work as a Farm Secretary in Gloucestershire for two years, before moving to Scotland. Being involved in SAYFC provided the ideal dating agency for meeting husband Arthur. She now looks after the farms finances, working in the partnership with Arthur and their sons James and David.

Susan started working for Scottish Agronomy in 1997 and her duties mainly involves accounts, dealing with all purchase and sales transactions, membership and trials invoicing and management reporting.  Staff are particularly pleased to see her around the 15th of the month, as she is also in charge of payroll.

Apart from being ‘Super Gran’ to their 6 grandchildren, Susan’s guilty pleasure is horses, where she has bred and ridden many over the years and free weekends, when possible, are spent away in their campervan with Waffle, their Border Terrier.
